🌊 Dive into the Soul of Tenerife: My Underwater World

Tenerife, the largest of the Canary Islands, is so much more than its stunning beaches and dramatic volcanoes. For those of us who feel at home underwater, it’s a place of magic, movement, and marine life — a paradise where every dive tells a story.
As a marine biologist and private PADI diving instructor, I created Ocean Soul Diving to share the beauty of this island’s underwater world in a personal and meaningful way. Whether you’re new to diving or looking for a more intimate, soulful experience, I’ll be right beside you — guiding, teaching, and celebrating every moment.
🐠 Why Tenerife Stole My Heart (and Might Steal Yours)
Tenerife’s waters are a vibrant blend of Atlantic currents and volcanic structure, making them a unique haven for marine life. Every dive is different, and you never know what surprise might glide past.
What You Might See:
🌈 Colorful Reef Fish – Like parrotfish, trumpetfish, and damselfish dancing through the light.🦅 Rays – Including butterfly rays and eagle rays that move with a grace that feels almost unreal.🦈 Sharks – Such as the rare and gentle angel shark, often resting in the sand.🐢 Turtles – My personal favorites, always calm, curious, and wise.🐙 Octopuses – Clever, elusive, and sometimes playful.🪸 Caves and Reefs – Natural cathedrals of life, color, and silence.
Every dive is a chance to connect — not just with nature, but with yourself.
💙 What Makes Ocean Soul Diving Different?
Ocean Soul Diving isn’t a dive shop. It’s a one-woman project, shaped by science, soul, and a love for the sea.
Here’s what I offer:
🤿 Private and Tailored Experiences – No big groups. Just you (or your small group) and me.
🌍 Guided by Knowledge – With a background in marine biology, I offer more than just a tour — I share the why behind what we see.
🌿 Eco-Conscious Diving – Respect for the sea is at the heart of every dive.
🧘♀️ A Calm, Mindful Atmosphere – You’ll never feel rushed. Whether it’s your first breath underwater or your 100th, we take it slow and soulful.
🧜♀️ What to Expect on Your Dive
Whether you're trying diving for the first time or already certified, here's how I usually structure the experience:
Warm Welcome & Chat – We meet, talk about the plan, and get to know each other a bit.
Briefing & Gear Check – I’ll walk you through everything and help set up your equipment.
The Dive – We head into the water together. I’ll guide you calmly and safely, always checking in.
After the Dive – We debrief, share impressions, and maybe even grab a café con leche if you're up for it!
✨ First Time? Don’t Worry
Everyone starts somewhere — I remember my first breath underwater like it was yesterday. If you’re curious but unsure, I’ll guide you with patience and care.
Some tips:
Breathe slowly, stay present.
Ask questions — there’s no rush, no pressure.
Trust the process — and enjoy it.
🐢 A Note on Marine Conservation
As a marine biologist, I see the beauty and fragility of the ocean every day. That’s why I teach and practice low-impact, respectful diving.
What you can do:
Observe, don’t touch.
Stay buoyant — let’s not disturb the seabed.
Bring your curiosity, leave only bubbles.
Together, we can keep this ecosystem thriving for generations.
